Role Purpose

The Account Based Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the growth goals of our priority growth accounts and audiences.  They will plan and implement strategic campaigns and programs, using performance data and insight to make continuous improvements and achieve goals.

The ABM Manager reports to the Marketing Director, Audience and ABM, and will collaborate closely with the global Sales, Marketing and Research teams to deliver on their plan. The ideal candidate will be a confident B2B marketing professional and a natural cross-functional collaborator with a solid understanding of ABM principles and experience executing ABM campaigns.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop effective and compelling account-focused marketing strategies to drive growth goals
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns and tactics in line with the strategy, utilising the full marketing channel mix and martech stack
  • Continuously analyse and evaluate campaigns to improve performance and deliver on KPIs
  • Utilise customer and market insights to inform decision making
  • Manage a budget and deliver on agreed ROI
  • Collaborate seamlessly with account teams, SMEs, and business stakeholders to gain deep understanding of priority accounts and customer segments
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships across the business and provide regular performance updates
  • Work collaboratively with the global marketing team to maximise reach and performance of campaign activity and to share best practices

About You

  • Previous experience in an ABM role where you were responsible for developing the campaign strategy and delivering on the tactical plan
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational qualifications
  • Experienced martech user (experience using Salesforce and Pardot is an advantage)
  • Comfortable using marketing performance metrics and insights to interpret trends and drive decision making 
  • Agile and flexible marketer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excels at problem solving and approaching issues in multiple ways
  • Strong customer focus, both internal and external
  • Strong communication skills and a natural collaborator
  • Able to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships and comfortable working in a matrixed environment
  • Knowledge of the energy, renewables & commodity markets is a distinct advantage
