Position Overview
PIMCO’s Israel team is responsible for building and managing relationships with clients in Israel, including insurance companies and pension funds, banks, and multi/single family offices. The team focuses on developing business opportunities and maintaining strategic long-term partnerships.
As an Account Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic role that supports the PIMCO’s growth in the fast growing Israeli market. You will be responsible for delivering insightful portfolio analysis and managing client reporting. You will analyze economic and market trends, deepen your understanding of public and private markets, and contribute to business initiatives led by the Account Managers. As you develop in the role, you will get the opportunity to interact directly with clients.
You will collaborate with PIMCO’s global network of investment professionals – including Account Managers, Product Managers, Portfolio Managers, legal and compliance teams – to ensure exceptional client service and assist with servicing and business development efforts. They also assist with various management initiatives and responsibilities.

This position requires an analytical, detailed professional who is passionate about asset management and can:
Continually build understanding of macro and underlying market factors to complete more qualitative, complex investment analyses.
Analyse Portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution.
Produce ad-hoc client & internal requests for information
Accurately and efficiently prepare client reports spanning performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation and risk metrics.
Handle ongoing automation of growing reporting requirements and streamlining of the reporting process.
Effectively utilize tools such as Excel spreadsheets, macros, and query tools, along with internet sites, both public and private.
Be enthusiastic about markets, macro, asset management – in both liquid and alternatives products.
Demonstrate strong communication skills to be implemented internally and with clients.
Maintain a commitment to quality and attention to detail; ensure that all work is delivered completed, accurately, and on time.
Flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, professional environment with frequent shifts in priorities as business needs dictate.
Have a strong sense of integrity, behaving consistently with expressed values and ethical principles of the firm.

Qualifications
Education:
Advanced degree with preference for emphasis in Finance and Economics or a related, quantitative/analytical field from an accredited, leading university.
Languages:
Fluent in Hebrew and English.
Requirements:
1- 4 years working in similar role within the financial services industry.
Strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, investment finance and Alternatives.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VBA knowledge an advantage), PowerPoint and be comfortable with software applications in general. Possess strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
Ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Personable, ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships. Ethical, collaborative, organized, self-starter, accountable, flexibility to adapt in a changing environment.
