Job Description:

The DXC Academic Programme is designed for talented and passionate individuals who are looking to join an agile world leader and are ready to deliver the best solutions to transform businesses in the new digital world.
 

Successful candidates must be able to get to our office location (up to 5 days per week), be eligible to obtain a certain level of Security Clearance as we primarily work on Secure Defence Accounts, therefore dual nationals or Visa Sponsorships are not accepted on our Academics Programme. For graduates, you must be due to graduate in 2025 , Or have graduated in the last 3 years.

We have 3 streams available within our Programme:

  • Technical
  • Business
  • Project Management

Technical

DXC Technology partners with global companies to run mission-critical systems, modernise IT and optimise data architecture — ensuring security and scalability across all cloud platforms. Individuals on our Technical development programme play a big part in the solutions that we deliver to our customers. We have various vacancies across our technology portfolio. We encourage individuals to engage in different projects to support development, ensuring that we are offering you the opportunity to diversify your skillset and enhance your future career prospects.

Project Manager or Business Graduate

Within a Project Manager or Business role, you’ll have the chance to work on a diverse range of cutting-edge IT projects, surrounded by industry-leading experts. This will provide the opportunity to fulfil your career goals while being part of an established global company. You will have a great deal of responsibility from day one, which will involve working in high performing teams and delivering client facing tasks. As you progress in your role at DXC Technology, we envisage you will develop your skills, increase your level of responsibility, and become involved with larger, more stimulating projects.

The DXC Academic Programme offers you:

  • For our Degree Apprentices, day release to our partnering Universities where you will work towards obtaining the relevant degree.
  • For our Modern Apprentices, day release to complete your coursework with the relevant training provided which will help you gain your Apprenticeship qualification.

Eligibility for our Technical Programme:
Graduate Programme

Studied for a Computer Science or STEM related degree.

Degree Apprenticeship Programme

Students who have achieved a college qualification would be preferred or those who have gained 1-2 years’ work experience in the relevant field.

A Level or "Equivalent" in Math’s and English are required, along with 1 *STEM subject preferably.

Modern Apprenticeship Programme

GCSE or "Equivalent" in Math’s and English are required, along with 1 *STEM subject preferably.

Experience not necessary.

Eligibility for our Project Management or Business Programme:

Graduate Programme

Have a Project Management, Business Management, or related business degree.

Degree Apprenticeship Programme

Have studied Business Management or have Project experience.

Students who have achieved a college qualification would be preferred or those who have gained 1-2 years’ work experience in the relevant field.

A Level or "Equivalent" in Math’s and English are required, along with 1 *STEM subject preferably.

Modern Apprenticeship Programme

GCSE or "Equivalent" in Math’s and English are required, along with Business Studies or another relevant subject.

Experience not necessary.
