AALTO HAPS LTD. Technical Project Manager

Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Programme Management, You will be part of the Programme Management team, responsible for working with the multi-functional team (including Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Production) to successfully deliver the Zephyr Products (aircraft, ground system, payloads, and system of systems) into service.

Responsibilities:

  • Set the tone and pace of the Zephyr 8 air system project delivery

  • Create project plans using a structured product development framework, ensuring scope is defined and planned with appropriate project phases and milestones to deliver design, development, test and industrialisation activities

  • Tracking and reporting on status vs key plan dates and technical targets

  • Enable alignment of all key stakeholders across the value chain and ensure all are working towards the project requirements

  • Run and chair regular reviews of progress, identifying and mitigating risks and barriers to progress

  • Set a positive tone to manage and motivate all project stakeholders and team members

  • Identify resources required to achieve project targets and drive the relevant functions to provide this resource

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of managing aerospace or equivalent projects

  • Qualified to degree level, or equivalent working experience, ideally holding a recognised project management and / or Engineering accreditation
