Programme overview:
Our 2027 London Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 June 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the asset and wealth management industry, specifically within the Wealth Planning team, and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.
Throughout the programme you will:
Take part in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business
Be assigned to a team (Wealth Planning) where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands-on experience
Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field
Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future career
This internship provides practical experience, skill development, and a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in the Wealth Management sector.

You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, be interested in world events and markets, and have a strong desire to solve problems, innovate, and help clients reach their financial goals.

The team:

Leveraging the investment expertise of both Cazenove Capital and Schroders, as well as carefully selected external providers, we deliver leading portfolio management, banking, and investment advisory services. As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience through core areas of our Wealth business. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, work closely with clients, and develop a strong understanding of financial planning, investments, and client relationship management.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for:
When the internship commences, you will have completed your second year of studies and will be on track to graduate with a degree (or equivalent) in 2028

A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
