The programme

 Our two-year programme will offer you the chance to gain a breadth of experience across our teams and a range of exciting initiatives.  This can include short term placements or rotations across the department, getting exposure with the Generalist team (employee relations), Talent Solutions (talent management, inclusion and diversity), Compensation and Benefits and Talent Acquisition (Recruitment). As part of the Graduate Programme, you will also be given training to help you perform to the best of your abilities and get up to speed on industry knowledge. 

 

The department

The People & Culture (P&C) team is responsible for ensuring that Schroders maximises the return on its investment in people. We do this through the development and implementation of policies and practices that attract, reward and retain high-quality employees. As a member of People & Culture, you’ll be joining a group of experienced, dedicated and supportive professionals who continuously deliver work to a very high standard and provide exceptional service to their stakeholders.  At Schroders, our success lies with our diverse range of people. Some day to day tasks may include: 

  • Building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across different business areas

  • Supporting a variety of People & Culture projects across areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Reward, Employee Relations and People Operations

  • Analysing people data and insights to help inform business decisions and identify trends

  • Contributing to initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support our people strategy

  • Reviewing market data to support activities

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working, helping the team operate more efficiently

  • Partnering with colleagues across our global offices on projects and day-to-day activities

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of employee events and engagement initiatives

 

Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for:

  • You should be due to graduate in 2027, or have recently graduated, and be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, an honours degree (or equivalent). We welcome applications from all degree subjects.

  • You will be in your final year of study or already graduated

  • A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • The ability to understand our target audiences
