Role Overview

Key Purpose
Design and specify all aspects of our Civil and Structural Engineering works in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations and project deliverables
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering design and consultancy services on behalf of BakerHicks under the direction of the line manager or project lead.
- Produce design deliverables (including calculations, drawings, specifications and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and ensure progress against the project brief.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient and buildable solutions.
- Keep up to date with ICE and/or IStructE training and CPD requirements.
Requirements
- Awarded QUEST Scholarship with BakerHicks and ICE.
- Enrolled in a degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
