Verition’s Summer Internship Program – Risk Management (UK).
Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies.
As part of our 10-week internship program, you’ll work closely with our Risk Management team to enhance your skill set and apply your studies to a wide variety of projects. Our program provides ample opportunities to learn about alternative investments, gain hands-on experience, and contribute meaningfully to a fast-growing firm.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s in finance, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related field of study.
- Computer programming ability (SQL, Python, or R preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
- Intellectually curious, self-motivated, and collaborative individuals.
