Your future role at QRT 

The successful candidate will join a growing Business Data Analytics (BDA) team, playing a key role in preparing, cleaning, and transforming business-related data. In this role, you will support cross-functional teams by ensuring the availability of accurate, structured, and context-rich datasets used to power reporting, decision-making, and strategic insights across the firm: 

• Own the preparation, cleaning, and structuring of data used by internal reporting tools 

• Apply business rules and mapping logic to transform raw datasets into usable formats 

• Work and collaborate directly with investment functions to create tools for risk and monitoring purposes 

• Support the maintenance of data dashboards and manual data pipelines 

• Conduct regular checks for inconsistencies, duplicates, and missing data 

• Assist in documenting processes and contributing to automation of repeatable tasks 
• Collaborate with data scientists,  developers, and business partners to ensure high data integrity 

Your present skillset 

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field 

• Proficient Excel Skills – including formulas, lookups, pivots, and data validation 

• Intermediate Python – especially for manipulating and transforming datasets  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot data inconsistencies 

• Understanding of financial and business metrics  

• Organised, hands-on, and proactive – comfortable owning operational workflows 
• Genuine interest in the financial and hedge fund industry
