3 Year Graduate Programme, with an opportunity to apply for a permanent role upon conclusion

The Finance Graduate Programme is targeted to graduates/students currently in their final year of University who seek a career within Finance. The programme will include study towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA), whilst on a structured rotation plan across different teams within the Finance function. The successful candidate will be embedded into the Arch Finance department to obtain knowledge and professional skills, whilst gaining a comprehensive understanding of the distinct roles across the function. The programme will commence in September 2025.

Throughout the 3 years you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work collaboratively across the various departments within Finance

  • Receive training and guidance throughout your learning journey

  • Create measurable goals with the line manager to track performance

  • Networking opportunities both internally and externally

  • Work towards the possibility of a permanent position within Arch Finance

Finance Graduate Programme – Skills Developed

Throughout the Finance Graduate Programme, you will receive comprehensive training and support, to develop the following skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the finance processes, within the Insurance Industry. 

  • Communication & Negotiation Skills – ability to adapt your communication style for a variety of audiences.

  • Commercial Thinking – understanding of the insurance market and its customers.

  • Regulatory and Compliance awareness.

  • Teamwork – ability to work as part of a team.

  • Organizational discipline with ability to work independently using initiative.

  • Deliver Results – based on defined objectives and timescales.

  • Ability to build and maintain both internal and external professional relationships. 

  • Proficient interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Expected/achieved minimum 2:1 classification in an Accounting/Finance related degree

Arch seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about the insurance industry.

Graduate Programme – Key Dates

  • Wednesday 2nd October 2024: Application window opens

  • Friday 28th February 2025: Application window closes

  • Successful applicants will be contacted week commencing 3rd March 2025 and invited to an assessment centre

  • Thursday 27th March 2025: Assessment centre

  • Monday 7th April – Friday 18th April 2025: Online interviews

  • Successful candidates will be sent offers week commencing 7th April 2025

  • Tuesday 26th August 2025: Graduate Programme start date
