Interns will work with vendors and institutional and retail clients, apply technology to financial-market products, solve client queries, and collaborate with technical teams. Candidates complete an online programming assessment through HackerRank.

Design, build, and maintain low-latency, front-to-back trading infrastructure including order management, exchange connectivity, smart order routing, internalization, and clearing. Improve scalability and performance, produce trading tools, and support diverse projects across frontend and backend technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Provide client-facing support for Virtu's Analytics suite: analyze trade data, create and deliver transaction cost presentations and bespoke research, support client communication and consulting projects, contribute to sales and product initiatives, and use data and automation to improve internal and client operations.
