Own and architect high-throughput Node.js payment microservices handling fiat transactions across multiple currencies and regulatory jurisdictions. Design resilient, traceable, idempotent, and reconciliable systems; lead banking and payment-partner integrations; and operate AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, databases, caching, monitoring, and on-call processes. The UK MLRO holds statutory personal accountability for AML/CFT at the UK entity, owning risk assessment, policies, CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions, Travel Rule compliance, SAR/DAML reporting, regulatory engagement (FCA/NCA), assurance, and leadership of the UK financial crime team. They will drive the FCA cryptoasset authorisation application and ensure the control framework meets supervisory standards.
