Software Engineering Interns will help design, maintain, and scale infrastructure supporting Talos’s digital asset trading and settlement platform. Responsibilities include contributing to CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, deployment tooling, monitoring, logging, observability, and production performance improvements. Interns will collaborate with engineering teams to implement infrastructure requirements and gain exposure to distributed systems, cloud platforms, Linux, networking, and platform engineering during a 12-week summer internship.

Software Engineering Intern joining the Trading team for Summer 2027. The role involves building high-performance trading system features in Go, enhancing the Order Management System, designing components, contributing to architectural discussions, and adding analytics and metrics. The intern will collaborate with engineers to define requirements, demonstrate progress, and iterate based on feedback while supporting algorithmic trading capabilities and best execution.

As a Software Engineer, you'll develop backend services for crypto trading, optimize systems, and collaborate with product teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Design and develop high-performance backend systems for trading connectivity, integrating new liquidity providers, and ensuring platform reliability and security.

Lead end-to-end technical onboarding and connectivity integrations for institutional clients and trading counterparties. Manage implementations involving APIs, FIX, platform configuration, timelines, and stakeholder coordination. Configure and validate client environments, troubleshoot integration issues with engineering, and produce onboarding documentation and best practices.
