The role involves designing, implementing, and improving cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and troubleshooting applications in Kubernetes environments.

Provide 24x7 first/second-line support for bespoke biometric applications on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern. Handle incidents, requests, problem and change management within SLAs, liaise with customers and internal teams, maintain service documentation, and support continual service improvement. Work with Unix/Linux and Windows systems, Oracle databases, incident logging tools and monitoring platforms; must be able to obtain UK security clearance.

Provide first-line system administration and service-desk support for biometric systems: monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, log and escalate calls, maintain documentation, and support Access/Event/Incident/Request/Problem Management. Contribute to service planning and ensure availability while working to security clearance requirements and shift patterns when required.
