Leads multiple distributed engineering teams supporting SciVal, a large-scale research analytics platform. Sets engineering strategy, architectural standards, and technology roadmaps across search, data, analytics, APIs, and platform integration. Develops engineering leaders, manages workforce planning and delivery, drives platform modernization, and establishes standards for quality, security, observability, resilience, and technical debt. Partners with Product, Data, Architecture, UX, Security, and customers to deliver AI-enabled, agent-ready analytics experiences.

Design and build ML, NLP, and generative AI systems for scientific discovery and knowledge extraction. Build retrieval, ranking, recommendation, and decision-support systems, integrate scientific metadata and ontologies, establish evaluation and monitoring, write production Python code, and provide technical leadership and mentoring.

Drive new commercial opportunities for Reaxys by generating leads, engaging prospects, and supporting deal progression. Represent the product at industry events, share market insights and identify whitespace, and collaborate with sales, product, and marketing to shape GTM initiatives and proposals.

Define and lead AI and data science strategy across ML, NLP, search, recommendation, experimentation, and generative AI. Lead and develop teams to deliver production-ready AI systems (LLMs, RAG, semantic search, embeddings), establish evaluation and responsible AI frameworks, and influence cross-functional stakeholders to align roadmaps and drive measurable product and business outcomes.

Provide advanced product and domain expertise to Elsevier customers throughout the post-sales journey. Support adoption, complex use cases, change management, training, escalations, and value realization for analytics products including SciVal and Scopus. Apply bibliometric, scientometric, research evaluation, and AI knowledge while collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Education teams to improve customer outcomes, product adoption, renewals, and account growth.

Develop and align global go-to-market strategies across customer personas and enterprise offerings. Translate market and customer insights into priorities, initiatives, metrics, governance, and commercialization plans. Facilitate senior stakeholder alignment in a complex matrixed organization, support product launches and portfolio changes, and monitor performance to improve growth, customer value, and commercial execution across healthcare markets.

Manage a regional portfolio of clinical solutions for hospitals and healthcare services, focusing primarily on new sales and revenue growth. Develop account strategies, identify opportunities within existing customers, collaborate with sales and internal teams, maintain client relationships, and report performance to clients and leadership. The role requires consultative selling experience, structured sales methodologies, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to engage C-suite stakeholders.

Embed security into software delivery by partnering with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipeline security, triage and remediate findings, perform threat modeling, design secure-by-default patterns, build reusable templates and automation, support compliance and audit evidence, and communicate security standards and best practices.

Lead the Learning & Performance team to design and implement a global sales and customer success curriculum, ensuring alignment with business strategies and measurable performance outcomes.
