As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will troubleshoot performance issues in energy storage systems, validate software updates, and collaborate with teams to improve efficiency and safety.

Deploys and supports utility-scale battery energy storage control systems from design through commissioning and operation. Responsibilities include reviewing control and network designs, validating signal mappings and power models, managing technical documentation, developing automation tools, troubleshooting secure communications, supporting customers and vendors, and providing on-site commissioning expertise. The role requires industrial control, SCADA, networking, and renewable energy experience, with occasional national and international travel.

Lead technical support for design, integration, and deployment of utility-scale battery energy storage systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers, ensure safety and quality, troubleshoot application issues, document solutions, and drive project delivery and innovation for renewable energy projects.

Manage execution of BESS projects from Limited Notice to Proceed through Final Completion, coordinating stakeholders, engineering, procurement, construction, quality, H&S, schedules, budgets, and project reporting for turnkey utility-scale energy storage projects.

Lead UK & EMEA legal and compliance for e-Storage, focusing on negotiating and drafting high-value project contracts (EPC, supply, O&M, warranties), managing disputes, designing EMEA compliance frameworks, overseeing regulatory matters (EU Batteries, WEEE, trade/sanctions), and leading a regional legal team and external counsel relationships.

Support design, build, and integration of utility-scale battery energy storage projects. Coordinate project activities, collaborate with teams, ensure safety, quality, and customer-focused delivery while solving technical and execution challenges.
