Conduct verification and validation of electric drive systems and electro-mechanical components. Assemble prototypes, test software and hardware, validate batteries, HMIs, and sensors, investigate integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend mitigations. Develop test methods, scripts, and procedures; maintain test equipment and jigs; support FMEA activities; communicate risks and results; and improve validation practices across software, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams.

Develop, test and maintain embedded firmware for Brompton Electric bikes across the full product lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship features, debug issues, write scalable C++ code, participate in code reviews, and support manufacturing and production releases.

Manages a four-person indirect procurement team, overseeing supplier relationships, negotiations, contracts, tenders, budgets, spend analysis, cost savings, compliance, and KPI development. The role builds reliable supply chains for goods and services, maintains purchasing records, resolves delivery issues, supports internal stakeholders, and provides management reporting. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, negotiation, supplier-management, and procurement skills are required, along with MRP/APS and Microsoft Office experience. CIPS certification is desirable.

Support supplier quality activities across the supply chain, assist with audits and NPI supplier readiness, collect and analyse supplier performance data, support root cause investigations and corrective actions, perform first article inspections and PPAP support, and participate in continuous improvement projects while receiving structured training and mentoring.

Lead strategy and execution for Brompton bike products: define user needs and specifications, build business cases, set pricing and forecasts, manage product lifecycle, drive go-to-market plans, analyse KPIs and competitor landscape, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver commercially viable, market-differentiated bikes.
