Supports the resourcing, contracting, onboarding, allocation, and relationship management of examiners and moderators. Lead AQA’s Business, Economics and Accounting subject area, developing plans that support customer engagement, retention, and product growth. Manage and develop subject specialists, use data to monitor impact, build relationships with schools and professional stakeholders, and represent AQA at conferences and events. The role combines subject expertise, strategic planning, operational management, customer insight, stakeholder engagement, and national travel.

Lead and deliver qualitative and quantitative assessment research and evaluations across vocational and new assessment product workstreams. Provide methodological expertise, manage projects and junior researchers, engage stakeholders, communicate findings, and represent AQA externally to influence assessment practice and policy.

Lead development of insight-driven customer propositions and go-to-market strategies for AQA's qualifications. Translate complex information into clear narratives, build business cases, influence senior stakeholders, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver measurable commercial and brand impact. Use quantitative and qualitative research to inform decisions and monitor performance across a portfolio of propositions.

Lead and develop the Copyright and Archive Team, implement a new copyright framework, build partnerships with publishers and rights holders, provide strategic oversight and risk management, programme-manage delivery to milestones, create reporting and self-serve processes, train colleagues on third-party material use, and embed copyright best practice across the AQA Group to support assessment and product development.
