London-based AI data platform Treefera has raised $30 million in a Series B funding round to fuel its global expansion. The round was led by Notion Capital, with participation from Albion VC, Triple Point, Twin Path Ventures and Endeit Capital.
Treefera targets a major blind spot in global supply chains, according to a news release. The company uses satellite imagery, AI and risk modeling to improve first-mile visibility and decision making.
With the new funding, Treefera plans to expand its capabilities in commodity tracking, geospatial analytics and automation for regulatory compliance.
“Data informs the flow of capital, and at Treefera we equip enterprises with the clarity to strengthen supply chain resilience, secure future revenue and scale the upside of regenerative practices. With defensible real-time insights on commodities, ingredients and carbon from the first mile, businesses can not only have clearer sightlines into sourcing, but mitigate risk and ensure compliance. This backing led by Notion Capital enables us to accelerate our mission globally for the benefit of business and planet,” Jonathan Horn, CEO and founder of Treefera, said in a statement.
