Deliverect, a London-based provider of digital sales solutions, announced its acquisition of Tabesto, a company that develops ordering and payment kiosks for food service businesses. Tabesto’s 60-person team will join Deliverect, and its co-founder and CEO Guillaume Hourmant will oversee product strategy as head of Deliverect Kiosk.

“Today’s consumer wants the best of both worlds –– they’re looking for speed alongside a premium experience,” Zhong Xu, Deliverect’s CEO and co-founder, said in the company’s statement. “The acquisition of Tabesto enables us to further support both on- and off-premise ordering experiences, allowing restaurants to manage their menus and operations centrally across all their digital channels.”

Tabesto serves 1,500 customers with customizable kiosks that can integrate with existing suppliers and adapt to any restaurant and point-of-sale system. Its kiosk solution features technology like tap-to-pay payment and external payment terminals. Tabesto’s product will help Deliverect customers streamline ordering processes, optimize operational management and increase sales.

Deliverect offers an API-first software solution for on- and off-premise digital sales. It counts enterprises like Burger King, Little Caesars and Pret A Manger among its customers and has a global footprint spanning more than 52 markets. The newly acquired Tabesto will operate in France and Switzerland, and the Deliverect Kiosk product will be available across the United Kingdom, Benelux and Spain, with plans to fuel further European expansion over the next year.
