Skills and Experience

The SEO Account Manager will be required to support the growth of our offering with the help of the Account director and business director. The SEO Manager will help to shape the global SEO strategy for a variety of brands across content, technical, holistic search, and offsite initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a creative thinking individual who is passionate about digital marketing, in particular SEO. The person should be keen to learn and have an interest in the developing trends and technologies that impact search. An analytical mind-set coupled with a creativity is a must for this role.

Essential Criteria

Essential candidate criteria include experience in the below:

•Effective and efficient working style and communication skills and experience as a key point of contact for clients and ensure they are happy with work delivered.

•Experience in effectively managing your own time, and time allocated to junior team members.

•An expert in providing detailed insights on a full suite of technical and on-page SEO features and their business impact.

•Experience working with internal and external paid teams to provide a mid to long term approach to ensure effective paid and owned integration.

•Experience supporting the team during the site migrations to provide best practice guidance for each site migration.

•Analytically lead work streams, discovering deep and meaningful insights to help inform content and technical strategies in this highly competitive market.

•Competency in GA4, creating or updating Looker studio dashboards and benchmarking search performance.

•Demonstrated experience in supporting the evolution of an Account Executive/ the wider team.

•Experience working closely with the other SEO sub-teams as well as analytics, media, and planning teams to deliver consistent and considered work.

•Experience assisting in growing business with existing clients as well as involvement with new business.

Desirable Criteria

•Language skills.

•Adobe Analytics experience is desired. 

Responsibilities

Delivering client performance

•Full ownership of client and internal relationships as the day-to-day contact for the brand

•Collaboration with strategy and analytics teams to gather insights to deliver against the SEO performance requirements.

•Oversee the implementation of the global strategy across multiple markets. 

•Understand, inform, and implement any SEO developments and algorithm changes. 

•Create and develop content strategy with the client team(s).

•Lead client calls and internal meetings, provide outstanding levels of client service to all team clients in a proactive manner. 

•Become a specialist in your client’s vertical sector, e.g., Ecommerce, FMCG, Automotive etc.

•Conduct technical and content audits and provide recommendations. 

Raising our profile

•Playing an active role in team meetings and agency events

•Writing case studies of great work delivered by the team

•Volunteering to assist with new business pitches, and other cross-agency initiatives

•Collaborating with other digital teams within the Mindshare Channels and Solutions department

Driving our process

•Integrate seamlessly with client account teams rather than search as an added service

•Making full use of the technology available, implementing processes and practices that maximize operational efficiencies

•Taking responsibility for junior team members accurately following all aspects of Mindshare process

•Identifying opportunities for process improvement, and providing recommendations 

Inspiring our people

•Oversee, delegate, and manage SEO deliverables of SEO account executives’

•Proactively support senior members of the team

•Arranging/attending training to progress you and the team’s knowledge and capability
