About ICE
ICE is a music technology company built by rightsholders, for rightsholders. We simplify the complexities of the music royalty chain through an innovative suite of licensing, processing, and copyright services, enabling our customers to accurately and efficiently compensate songwriters and composers for the use of their works.

Serving over 330,000 rightsholders and leveraging a copyright database comprising 55 million musical works, ICE’s operations touch 250+ territories to distribute more than €1bn in royalties per year, with a total of over €5bn distributed to date.

About the Role

In Royalty Processing, we are building scalable and domain-driven services where a team of engineers and product managers look after the continuous development of one domain. This role is for managing the Matching service. Matching is a key area of the royalty processing domain where music usages are matched to registered works in the ICE Copyright database.

You will play a central part in the successful delivery of music royalties to musicians, composers, and publishers by devising improvements to the Matching product, planning the roadmap, managing the team’s backlog and exploring requirements and opportunities for new initiatives within Matching.

ICE applies product-centric and agile delivery practices in the development of its solutions, and so you would play a decisive role in their creation, closely collaborating with highly performing engineering and business teams. This means working with some of the leading experts in the music rights industry.

Our values include:

  • Clear communication and teamwork

  • Customer-centric product management

  • Domain and technology-driven product development

  • Agile product methodology

  • Continuous learning and improvement

We're looking for candidates who are based in the UK or Spain (or have the right to work in these countries) to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about product development, collaboration, and making a difference in the music industry, we want to hear from you!

This role is open to candidates who are currently residing in the UK or Spain or those who have the legal right to work in either country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defining the roadmap of the Matching product together with key stakeholders and engineers

  • Collecting requirements from customers and stakeholders, and translating them into actionable initiatives for engineers

  • Undertaking product discovery to define solutions

  • Conducting UX/UI research to improve the user experience of the Matching

product, and align it with the experience in other sub-domains

  • Prioritizing initiatives and managing the engineering backlog

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience as a Product Manager within an agile product management framework

  • Experience in UX/UI research is a big plus

  • Experience in Data and Analytics platforms is beneficial

  • A past performance which demonstrates the successful delivery of products

    that have delivered value.

  • Knowledge or experience of working within the music rights industry will be a key

advantage, but an ability to quickly build up knowledge and understanding of

new domains or industries will be a more critical requirement.

  • Experience in presenting ideas and results to internal and external audiences

  • Experience working with new technology and tools.

What we offer:
  • Competitive local benefits based on your location
  • We promote flexible working regarding time and/or place
  • Both mental and physical health initiatives
  • Corporate pension scheme
  • Comprehensive training and development opportunities
  • Industry insider events, team socials and company events
  • Enhanced holiday allowance

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, regardless of age, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and any other protected characteristic.
We are committed to making all stages of our recruitment process accessible to candidates with disabilities. Please speak to our recruitment team and we will work with you to make reasonable adjustments to ensure you can perform at your best throughout your application.
