Hybrid Working Model: All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Job Description
Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Product Manager and leader to develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for our authentication products. This role will drive strategic initiatives to ensure our authentication solutions are at the forefront of industry standards, directly impacting our business growth and market position.
The successful candidate will provide cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams to enable our merchants to seamlessly integrate secure and efficient authentication processes. They will establish a robust foundation and drive the development, optimization, and scaling of our authentication capabilities.
Daily tasks include understanding stakeholders’ pain points, driving prioritization for product development, and developing new capabilities for our customers. This role will ensure our products comply with and leverage the latest authentication standards and deliver high-quality, secure, and innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Roadmap Development:

Lead the creation and maintenance of the authentication roadmap for short, mid, and long-term objectives.

Plan and document initiatives on a monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis to align with business goals.
Industry Standards Expertise:

Stay intimately familiar with authentication standards, including EMVCo 3D Secure and other relevant protocols.

Ensure our products comply with and leverage the latest industry standards to maintain a competitive edge.
Strategy Creation and Execution:

Develop and execute a robust strategy for the authentication product line.

Set clear, measurable goals and KPIs to track the success and impact of the strategy.
Thought Leadership:

Act as a thought leader in the authentication domain, staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.

Represent Checkout.com at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance our market position.
Stakeholder Communication:

Actively communicate with stakeholders, including customers, to gather insights and drive product growth.

Provide regular updates on product progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:

Manage dependencies across other product teams to ensure seamless end-to-end capability.

Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products.
Product Discovery:

Conduct thorough product discoveries to develop market needs and opportunities.

Communicate findings effectively with the engineering team to ensure alignment and optimal outcomes.
Project Planning and Management:

Develop detailed project plans and timelines to guide the execution of authentication initiatives including go to market.

Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget.
Customer and Market Insights:

Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to inform product decisions.

Use insights to refine product features and enhance the user experience.

Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers and business

Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles.
Qualifications
About you:
-
5-7 years of product management experience.
-
Experience building and working on Payment Authentication (3DS, PSD2) or ID&V products for Acquiring.

Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution.

Customer-first: Think from the customer's perspective and can balance future opportunities with immediate needs.

End-to-end mindset: Think in a structured and diligent manner, understanding all key components necessary to drive the ongoing success of a product.

Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, commercial, and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills.

Effective communicator: Able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences.
