Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who shares our vision and passion to innovate and deliver on behalf of our customers. The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of internal tooling and data optimisation models, as well as customer facing digital experiences, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams. 

As the Senior Product Manager for our menu and choice, you will lead a multidisciplinary team changing the way hundreds of thousands of households choose to eat dinner each night. You are responsible for enabling Gousto to present the best menus to our customers, week after week, to keep them delighted and coming back for more. 

Supported by data science models, you will guide your team to ensure we offer recipes that not only match customers' preferences but also evolve with their tastes. Working closely with a Senior Product Designer, you will also make our internal tooling and processes fit for purpose to support our big ambitions in the menu space.

Core Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will: 

  • Build and develop a digital product strategy within your domain
  • Advocate customer needs, both internal and external, by generating and using qualitative and quantitative insights
  • Rigorously prioritise using customer and business-lenses 
  • Use lean practices to drive product development with a team of world-class designers, engineers, data scientists, solutions architects and analysts
  • Drive change through a cross-functional team delivering value to the customer and keeping internal stakeholders aligned on direction
  • Work closely with our operations, operations systems, proposition, product analysts and senior leadership teams
  • Direct the ideation, development and launch of new capabilities
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of your domain

Qualifications

Who You Are: 

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and create a clear path to success, including when not all information is immediately at hand
  • Ability to break complex processes into manageable chunks of work that bring clear value to customers and the business
  • Strong product fundamentals, including an ability to define and deliver product strategy and roadmaps in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial, analytical and able to prioritise between competing tasks quickly
  • An ability to earn trust and build valuable relationships that you leverage to take people with you through change
  • Experience working closely with senior engineer and design teams
  • Experience working on internal tooling, optimisation models and data products
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
