We are seeking a visionary Sr Head of Marketing to lead the design, implementation, and execution of world-class marketing strategies that align with dLocal’s business goals. This leader will play a pivotal role in building our global brand narrative, driving digital growth, and delivering unforgettable marketing experiences.This is not a traditional marketing role. We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with AI—a leader who will leverage cutting-edge tools to optimize performance today and reimagine the very structure of the marketing organization for tomorrow.

What You’ll Do

  • Define & Execute Strategy: Build a cohesive global content, digital growth, and event marketing strategy that increases awareness and supports revenue growth.
  • AI-Driven Transformation: Implement and scale AI-powered marketing tools to optimize efficiency, personalization, and performance—restructuring processes and workflows around AI capabilities.
  • Leadership & Growth: Set clear short- and long-term goals for the marketing team, design and manage the budget, and forecast hiring needs.
  • Commercial PR Strategy: Develop and execute creative PR and marketing strategies directly aligned with commercial objectives. Collaborate closely with commercial teams to strengthen client engagement, support sales enablement, and drive business growth.
  • Events That Matter: Lead the vision and execution of impactful, high-quality global marketing events.
  • Performance & Insights: Track, analyze, and report marketing metrics. Continuously optimize campaigns based on data.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth analysis to anticipate challenges, spot opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors in emerging markets.
  • Executive Collaboration: Partner closely with leadership in quarterly and annual planning to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Digital Growth & Demand Generation: Lead initiatives across SEO, SEM, and content-driven campaigns to maximize visibility and inbound engagement. Build and optimize demand generation programs that attract, nurture, and convert high-quality inbound leads into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). Manage the paid campaigns budget to ensure efficient allocation and ROI, while partnering closely with Sales to align on pipeline goals. Leverage marketing automation, AI-driven optimization (AIO), and emerging AI search strategies to streamline campaign execution, personalize user journeys, and maximize performance. Continuously test and refine strategies to drive scalable, measurable growth across digital channels.

What We’re Looking For

  • Location: Based in Europe, with flexibility to travel.
  • Languages: Fluent English and Spanish.
  • AI Obsession: Demonstrated passion for AI in marketing—both in adopting tools and in redefining structures, workflows, and strategies through AI.
  • Experience:
  • Global B2B marketing leadership experience.
  • Proven track record across brand, vertical, and lead generation marketing.
  • Familiarity with key dLocal markets: China, APAC, India, LatAm, Middle East, Africa.
  • Mindset:
  • Results-oriented, highly data-driven decision maker.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
