Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Communications team

Adyen’s Communications team sets and executes Adyen’s global communications strategy – encompassing our global positioning and reputation and stakeholder management. We always look for the most powerful way to convey our story, and there’s a lot of room for creativity in our projects.

Our team consists of talented and driven storytellers, and together we shape how our company is perceived by a broad range of stakeholders. Spanning Adyen’s corporate communications function and global press office, we craft messaging on a daily basis for a wide-ranging audience including investors, analysts, regulators, and reporters. At the moment, we are looking for a Senior Corporate Communications Manager to join our team in Amsterdam.

What you’ll do

  • Act as an Adyen spokesperson for international and local media and cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists and editors.
  • Craft materials that underpin the execution of our communications strategy, translating our business progress into easy-to-understand messaging for a wide range of audiences.
  • Work closely with the Management Board and broader senior leadership team on media engagements and public speaking opportunities.
  • Create documents that support Adyen’s interactions with external stakeholders (i.e. reporters, regulators, and other public stakeholders), including FAQs, press briefings, and presentation materials.
  • Partner closely with Adyen’s PR team, and nurture the company's relationships with local external stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, and other public stakeholders.

Who you are

  • You have 8-10 years of relevant experience in an (external) communications role, including relevant experience as an external spokesperson.
  • You are a team player and comfortable with interacting with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • You are flexible and fast, and enjoy getting things done in a dynamic environment, prioritizing where needed to meet tight deadlines.
  • You are a capable storyteller, with native-level written skills in the English language and you speak English fluently.

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments

Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity of backgrounds and cultures is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business and technical challenges are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. No matter who you are or where you’re from, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.

What We Do

By providing end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products in a single solution, Adyen helps businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Our team members are motivated individuals from different cultures that help each other do remarkable things every day and across time zones. We face unique technical challenges at scale and we solve those as a team. And together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions for businesses all across the world.

With 28 offices across the globe, Adyen serves customers including Meta, Uber, Spotify, Casper, Bonobos and L'Oreal.

Why Work With Us

At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition. We started with payments, at a time when providers offered services based on a patchwork of systems built on outdated infrastructure. Ambition demanded more. So we set off to build a financial technology platform for the modern era, entirely in-house, from the ground up.
