Do you have the skills and experience to support the successful delivery of projects this could be the right opportunity for you. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support us in driving our ambitious growth plans.

The ideal candidate will possess production/manufacturing experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing detailed project work plans.

The Project Manager will support the Senior Project Management Officer in the successful delivery of small to large scale projects at the Hull Blade Factory, leading projects from requirements definition through to deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, managing budgets, resourcing and implementation of plans (tracking projects and associated deliverables), including risk mitigations. The scope of works involves all project management activities associated with the lifecycle of a project.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal stakeholders, and with vendors, to facilitate and ensure successful implementation.

The position requires solid experience in team building, facilitation, and change management skills to influence and guide cross-functional teams throughout all aspects of assigned projects.

Responsibilities

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project execution

  • Establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks

  • Building and developing a project team to ensure maximum performance/optimal utilisation of resources - providing purpose, direction and ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and budget

  • Creating a collaborative consultative work environment, with matrix teams, and workgroups cross-departmentally and cross-functionally

  • Reporting project outcomes and / or risks to stakeholders; escalating issues quickly and efficiently and ensuring work plans adapted accordingly

Some of the typical on site projects and responsibilities:

  • Implementation and execution of automation systems for processes and operations

  • Supporting our Real Estate projects with expansion building projects and leasing with Real Estate to create handshake connections between plant and projects, this will include working within CDM (Construction Design & Management) areas

  • Supporting Technology Transfer projects by bringing in the next generation of blade which will require strong collaboration with our sister sites in Aalborg and Le-Harve

  • Implementation of tooling and equipment to support the production requirements on site supporting the functional needs of reviewing EFS (Engineering Functional Specification), PRS (Purchase Requirement Specification) , FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test)& TOC’s (Take Over Control) 

  • Working with cross functional teams to identify ILP (Industrial Logic Plan) and create projects to validate and improve the onsite process and delivery

What You Need to Make a Difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for..

  • Strong project management experience- proven success in management of concurrent projects

  • Experienced in project management platforms and implementation.

  • Team building/collaborative working – experienced in bringing cross functional teams together to delivery projects.

  • Management of budgets

  • Reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject is advantageous.

  • Experience working in project manager role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
