Role Summary and Impact

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join Mindshare Worldwide, working across the Blackrock (50%) and Unilever (50%) accounts within our Channels & Solutions team. This is a pivotal role supporting the Account Manager and Account Director in the delivery of best-in-class digital media campaigns across the network.

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget, and meet performance KPIs. This role offers exposure to multiple disciplines — such as search, social, and programmatic — with a focus on building transferable skills that can be applied to any digital channel. We’re looking for candidates with prior experience working within a media agency environment (network agency highly desirable) across one or more channels, who are eager to expand their expertise and adapt to different client and platform needs through training and ongoing development.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, partner agencies, and technology providers, while consistently delivering impactful work for two high-profile global brands.

Skills and Experience

At WPP Media, we believe in the power of our culture and our people. It’s what elevates us to deliver exceptional experiences for clients and each other. In this role, it will be critical to embrace WPP and WPP Media’s shared core values:

  • Be Extraordinary by Leading Collectively to Inspire transformational Creativity.
  • Create an Open environment by Balancing People and Client Experiences, cultivating Trust.
  • Lead Optimistically by Championing Growth and Development to Mobilize the Enterprise.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working within a media agency (network agency preferred) across one or more digital channels (e.g., search, programmatic, social) — transferable skills and adaptability are key.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Competent in using third-party ad management and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalents).
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including charts, pivot tables, and data visualisation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience working on finance or FMCG brands.
  • Exposure to cross-channel media planning and optimisation for integrated campaigns.
  • Familiarity with automated campaign management, audience strategies, or feed integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering Client Performance

  • Assist in planning and delivering digital media campaigns across channels, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and strategic objectives.
  • Use measurement tools to track and report campaign performance, extracting insights to inform future activity.
  • Identify opportunities to test new strategies, formats, and optimisation approaches to improve results.
  • Collaborate with platform partners, tech providers, and creative teams to ensure campaigns are delivered to industry best practice standards.

Inspiring Our People

  • Support the training of junior team members in campaign management processes and cross-channel fundamentals.
  • Share knowledge across the team to build broader channel competencies.
  • Contribute to an inclusive and growth-focused team culture, helping to instil Mindshare’s values of Energy, Empathy, and Impact.

Driving Our Process

  • Apply industry best practices to all campaign delivery.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to Mindshare and WPP Media processes.
  • Ensure all relevant certifications and training modules are completed as part of your ongoing development.
  • Meet and exceed client performance expectations through collaborative planning and execution.
