Converting legacy industrial and energy sites into modern data-centre facilities, Era4 is combining brownfield regeneration opportunities with cleaner, efficient, scalable compute capacity for healthcare, research, finance, enterprise, and public-sector organisations


We’re now looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer (Linux) who can directly support key client workloads, carry out platform maintenance, upgrades and changes while monitoring systems, key metrics, triaging alerts and resolve incidents to maintain service availability. This engineer will also have the opportunity to contribute to the build and scaling of our internal operations and service desk functions.
 
Fully Remote (Business Hours, occasional OOH and on call as needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day Infrastructure operations (monitoring, alert handling, maintenance).  Nvidia \ GPU workload experience essential.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure SLAs are met (Data Centre, Infrastructure Support, RMAs, Platform upgrades etc.)
  • Provide technical expertise and contribute to the build out and configuration of our internal observability platform.
  • Create and improve documentation around key operational activities.
  • Identify and drive improvements in performance, stability, and security.


Required experience:

  • Previous experience within infrastructure operations & platform maintenance.
  • Direct exposure to running Nvidia / GPU workloads in production.
  • Comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Own the responsibilities of 3rd party suppliers.
