Aberdeen comprises three businesses, interactive investor (ii), Investments and Adviser, each of which focuses on meeting and adapting to our clients’ evolving needs:

  • interactive investor, the UK’s second largest direct-to-consumer investment platform, enables individuals in the UK to plan, save and invest in the way that works for them.

  • Our Adviser business provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers, enabling them to create value for their customers.

  • Our investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.

  • Empower and develop a high-performing team, including agencies and partners. Creating a culture of trust and accountability, encouraging professional development and growth.

  • Own the marketing budget, strategic financial planning, and executive level reporting for channel performance.

  • Act as a strategic partner across the business, fostering cross-functional alignment and seen as an authority both internally and externally.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and service to ensure marketing supports adviser needs.

About the Candidate:

  • Extensive leadership experience in B2B marketing, ideally within financial services or platform businesses with a track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing strategies.

  • Strong understanding of adviser audiences, their needs, and how to engage them effectively.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and narratives.

  • Experienced in managing teams and external partners, fostering high performance and collaboration. Empowering team members to take ownership and accountability for positive outcomes for clients and colleagues.
