Job title: Graduate Software Verification Engineer

Location: Runcorn, on-site

About the opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Software Verification Engineer to join our innovative team at Epredia. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to contribute to the testing of Embedded and Application software solutions for medical devices. You will be involved in various stages of the software verification life cycle, working alongside experienced engineers in a supportive and collaborative environment

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to write verifiable software specifications

  • Test and deploy software solutions for medical devices and associated platforms, including regression testing

  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and engaging in problem-solving discussions

  • Assist in trouble shooting and support integration of software/Hardware components
     

Skills you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.

  • knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language, (e.g. C++, C#, QT or Python)

  • Good understanding of testing methodologies, tools and processes

  • Strong understanding of key principle of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Security by design highly beneficial

  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to challenges
