We are seeking a talented and experienced Ecommerce Email Marketing/CRM Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective email & SMS marketing campaigns, devising CRM strategies, and driving customer engagement, retention and, most importantly, revenue. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's presence and fostering long-term customer loyalty.

Job Description

With a creative mindset, a sharp eye for design, and strong skills in communication and copywriting, you'll collaborate closely with the ecommerce marketing, trading, and operations teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, sales conversion, and customer loyalty.

Duties include:

  • Develop and implement email and SMS marketing strategies that are laser-focused on our KPIs; sales, revenue, retention, loyalty and CLV
  • Plan, execute, and optimise high-impact email and SMS campaigns designed to convert leads into loyal customers and maximise ROI. A strong focus on mobile devices UX including ‘dark mode’ compatibility
  • Leverage our CRM system (Klaviyo) to enhance customer segmentation and personalisation, ensuring targeted campaigns that drive repeat purchases and revenue
  • Utilise advanced data analytics to segment audiences effectively, tailoring messaging to boost conversion rates
  • Acquisition of new subscribers and new lead generation both on and off site
  • Automation Flows: Continually review and optimise existing flows to ensure maximum effectiveness, plus find new opportunities for additional flows that will improve business KPIs
  • Analyse campaign performance meticulously, focusing on metrics such as revenue per email/SMS, conversion rates, open rates, deliverability. Then using this data to inform strategy and improve performance
  • Implement A/B testing protocols to refine campaign elements continually, aiming for optimal revenue outcomes
  • Work closely with sales, product development, and finance teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to relevant regulations including GDPR, maintaining the integrity of our customer data.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Canva or similar software 
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Results-driven and capable of meeting or exceeding targets and deadlines
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in email marketing and CRM management with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in an ecommerce setting
  • Proficiency in using Klaviyo for email marketing
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on translating data insights into actionable revenue-generating strategies.
  • Proven reporting analytics software skills GA4 or ability to run complex reports in Excel
