The Role

As a Data Visualisation Analyst, you will transform complex data into clear, intuitive, and impactful visual representations that drive business understanding and decision-making. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality dashboards and reports, directly supporting strategic initiatives across Compliance, MarTech, Media, and Sportsbook by providing accessible data insights. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategy by making data understandable and actionable, while challenging you to continuously explore new visualization techniques and contribute to our data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using leading BI tools (this will be 50% of the role).
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
  • Apply UX and visual design best practices to ensure dashboards are intuitive and clear.
  • Collaborate with data and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into visual solutions.
  • Adhere to data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and security.
  • Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for data visualization issues.
  • Stay updated with BI tool features and emerging data visualization trends, including AI.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proficiency in at least one major Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
  • Understanding of core UX and visual design principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Awareness of emerging AI-driven features within BI tools.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with colleagues to contribute positively to team goals.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of data in visualizations.
