Financial News - the award-winning publication for Europe's financial services sector - is looking for a new City correspondent to join its newsroom. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter and collaborator with a strong track-record of scoops and feature-writing and an ability to develop and cultivate sources. The beat will be broad, covering finance and business and is crucial to FN's mission to set the agenda for the City. The role requires strong storytelling abilities to enlighten readers about a complex and often secretive industry full of larger-than-life personalities at a time of great flux. The successful candidate will be expected to break agenda-setting scoops in areas including investment banking, trading, asset management and professional services, writing sharp analysis and investigative articles on in-depth topics, as well as securing interviews with finance's biggest names.
